From the Manufacture: Our Interior Latex Glaze is a water-based, translucent finish designed to be blended with selected PITTSBURGH® Paints latex products to create decorative color or “faux” finishes. This product can be used with the following PITTSBURGH® Paints latex base paints: WALLHIDE® Interior Latex Eggshell, SATINHIDE® Interior Latex Lo-Lustre, MANOR HALL® Interior Eggshell and Interior Semi-Gloss. Use with decorative application tools, such as sponges, rags, brushes and combs to create special effects.
From the editor: Normal ratio is 4 parts glaze to 1 part paint. But this ratio could be varied for more or less transparent look. Says formulated for PPG paints, but would work fine with any latex paint. ( Though we do recommend using top quality latex paints when doing faux finishes. )
